2. Storage & Transport & Distribution
Green Hydrogen can be transported as a gas by pipelines or in liquid form by ships, much like liquefied natural gas (LNG). It can be stored as a liquid, gas, or chemical compound such as ammonia.
In this area, logistics are comprised of three large segments that are totally industrially independent, but with areas in common and some dependency among themselves in terms of their promotion and development: storage, transportation and distribution.
UtilityGH2 is a project that aims to combine the expertise and experiences across the Canadian gas distribution companies creating a common understanding of how the distribution networks can help realize the huge growth potential and deliver the carbon reduction potential of green hydrogen utilization.
